Is there anyway I can borrow like $30,000 in a student loan you can qualify for if you have borrowed money from other lenders in the past and failed to pay them back?

I guess you are looking for those loan companies that don’t stay in business too long, because they’re more than happy to give really large sums of money to people who have demonstrated that they’re not real good about repaying.

I mean, seriously - not to be rude, but what are you asking?

I understand that you want to go to college and that you need a lot of money - but the sad reality is that when you screwed up your credit with write-offs and bankruptcies, you put yourself in a position where no legitimate lender is going to lend you a large sum of money for quite a few years. There is a cost to screwing up your credit. It’s not just like Thank God those debts are gone, now I can start over.

The answer is no. That’s the beauty of federal student loans - THEY will give you a chance, regardless of your credit history or income. No other legitimate lender will.
