My company was downsizing and as a result, I was moved to different departments during the change. However, during the downsizing, I fell behind on my bills causing the bad credit. I am now back in my previous role that will support paying back the loan with no problems. Looking for a small personal loan from anybody to help get back on track.

Will getting a bad credit loan to pay off some credit cards look bad on my credit history? Does it show up as just a new account when my report is checked? If it does have an adverse effect, is it worse than being extremely behind on my credit cards? I know the interest rates are very high, but thats alright with me.
